Cookie Policy

We set no analytics cookies and no marketing cookies. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell or share your browsing behaviour. Because we set nothing that requires your permission, we do not show a cookie banner and we do not ask you to consent to anything.

A small number of cookies are still needed to make the site work. They are listed below in full.

Authentication session. Keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Set only if you have an account and are signed in. You do not need an account to book. Strictly necessary.

Security. Set by our infrastructure provider to tell real visitors from automated traffic and to protect the site from abuse. Strictly necessary.

Your chosen language and currency. Set only when you actively choose a language or currency yourself, so the site remembers your choice next time. Strictly necessary, because remembering a preference you selected is part of delivering the service you asked for.

We use no analytics cookies. Our product analytics counts visitors using a privacy-preserving server-side hash rather than storing anything on your device, and your IP address is removed before the data is processed. We use no advertising or marketing cookies, no social media pixels, and no cross-site tracking of any kind.

If you have not chosen a language or currency, we work out sensible defaults from information your browser sends with each request. Those worked-out values are not stored anywhere, on your device or on ours. They are recalculated each time. Only a choice you make yourself is remembered.

The “recently viewed” properties shown while you browse are held in your browser’s memory for the current session only. Nothing is written to your device, and the list disappears when you close the tab.

How you pay depends on the property manager. Some take payment through a secure payment form embedded in our checkout, which is operated by the property manager’s own payment provider rather than by us. Others send you an invoice and a payment link after your booking is made, so payment happens on their own website or by bank transfer.

In both cases the payment step is the property manager’s, not ours. Any cookies set during payment are theirs and are governed by their privacy and cookie policies. stay.cx sets no additional cookies at the payment step.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because what we set is limited to the list above, blocking them will not stop you browsing properties or making a booking, but it will sign you out and the site will stop remembering your chosen language and currency.
